DELTA Development Technology AB is an accredited test and consulting company that has existed in Västerås since 1999. The parent company, FORCE Technology, is a Danish foundation that has existed since the 1940s. FORCE Technology is a technology consulting and service company which strives to create positive technological change and make the world more sustainable and safer. It is a non-profit organization that exists to help others. This is done, among other things, by conducting research and spreading new knowledge about technology. FORCE creates security and value for thousands of customers every year based on impartiality, confidentiality and knowledge. DELTA belongs to a division within FORCE called "Compliance & Product Testing". At our Västerås site, the focus is on EMC (electro-magnetic compatibility) and environmental durability testing as well as advice and training in EMC, electrical safety and environmental durability aspects. Our customers are found in most industries, such as medical technology, industry, power, automotive and consumer electronics. The "Compliance & Product Testing" division also has two large test labs in Denmark where, in addition to what we can do in Sweden, we can also add the following: • CB Certificate • Accredited electrical safety audits • Support with Cyber Security • Approval management

We are specialists in die casting with zinc. Our goal is to act as a partner who can offer a complete production process. We take responsibility for solving our customers’ logistic needs and act as a partner from the design stage, so that we can offer the most cost-effective product achievable. Parts are produced using fully automated processes and the latest production equipment, which allow us to offer a high degree of flexibility and quality, as well as ensuring correct delivery on time. We produce a wide selection of products for our customers, which entails many different types of machining and surface finish. Energy consumption for die casting zinc is lower than that for casting aluminium, for example, and zinc is 100 per cent recyclable. We have a completely closed system, which means that zinc emissions are almost zero. We have also invested heavily in wind power and are proud of our environmentally friendly choice, which supplies our entire business with electricity!

The Electronics Center in Halmstad (ECH) is, in addition to a collaborative arena for electronics development, also an EMC test chamber where companies can test their products for more efficient product development. ECH has a clear vision where academia, the public and private sectors form a regional knowledge and resource network. The network focuses on developing solutions to common technology challenges, with a particular emphasis on IoT and wireless communication. ECH enables practical collaboration, conducts education in electronics and supports research – all to promote the possibilities of creating products and innovations for the future.
