The Halmstad University Solar team - World Solar Challenge

The HUST team was in Australia in October 2023 to participate in the World Solar Challenge. They first spent 3 weeks at Hidden Valley Racetrack and then drove across Australia for 7 days, an incredible experience. The last event HUST participated in was at SpeedWeekend in Årsunda, where we set a world record for a solar-powered electric car on ice, with an average speed of 100.94 km/h.

Now we look ahead to the iLumen European Solar Challenge in Belgium in September 2024 and the World Solar Challenge in 2025. With a new team and an even more efficient solar car, the goal is to win and take a place among the giants.
