About us
Swelex AB is the result of a successful merger between three technology companies: Stig Wahlström Elektronik AB, SATCO Komponent AB, and Jolex AB.
Together, we created a modern, flexible, and technically strong distributor – focused on customized solutions and long-term relationships.
Now, we’re taking the next step. In 2025, Swelex will merge with Stig Wahlström Automatik AB (SW Automatik) – building an even broader and more capable organization for the future. And this is just the beginning.
The new Swelex brings together technical expertise from two areas:
From Swelex: connectors, cable assemblies, EMC, electronic protection, thermal management, and RF solutions
From SW Automatik: sensors, flow, pressure, level, temperature, and automation solutions
We’re keeping the best of both worlds – entrepreneur-driven technical sales with a strong customer focus – now with greater capacity, competence, and confidence in the future.
Our head office is located in Farsta, with production and warehouse facilities in Gävle, and customers throughout the Nordic region. Our suppliers are global – and every day, we work to solve our customers’ technical challenges, regardless of market or application.

Light Guides & LED Components
We offer over 450 standard light guides and LED displays with minimal tooling costs and low MOQ. We provide expert guidance to help you find the solution for your needs. Our modern light guides efficiently transport light signals from circuit-board-mounted LEDs to designated emitting surfaces, minimizing loss and blurring. These solutions are cost-effective, space-saving, and easy to mount, with robust ESD protection.
Power Supply
We provide a wide range of power supplies for a lot of different applications. We have everything from DIN rail mounted power supplies to DC/DC converters designed specifically for rail applications, ensuring superior performance and full compliance with the latest European rail standards for electronic equipment used on-board rail vehicles. Our product range includes AC/DC Converters, wide input voltage range DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters that can be either open frame, encapsulated, rack or chassis mounted.
