Hot Melt
Hot Melt – efficient bonding with fast setting time Hot melt adhesives are thermoplastic materials that are applied in a molten state and bond as they cool and solidify. This creates a fast, strong, and reliable bond without the need for solvents or curing time, making hot melt an efficient solution for many industrial applications. Hot melt systems are widely used across multiple industries, including: Manufacturing and assembly – for rapid bonding of components where short cycle times are critical. Packaging industry – commonly used for carton sealing, labeling, and case closing due to fast setting and high productivity. Furniture, woodworking, and textiles – providing strong adhesion with clean application and minimal waste.
Bonding
At Silitrade we provide 1 part and 2 part component materials for protection of your Electronics. Silicones maintain good adhesion to many substrates even within high temperatures the mechanical properties are outstanding. 1K silicones are often used for protection of • stress • vibration and shock under harsh conditions. Acetate curing silicones for high and low temperatures. Bonding and sealing of luminaire housing and diffuser disc / cover Adhesive connection of material: Metal-Glass / Metal-Plastic / Plastic-Plastic • Coating of conveyor belts. • FDA approved. • Chemical resistance. • High mechanical strength.
Coating
Coating By using coating materials, protection is provided against corrosion, chemicals, extreme temperatures, moisture, and contamination. Silitrade provides 1-part silicone and acrylic conformal coatings for electronic protection. These 1-part materials are: • UL 94 V-0 rated • Fast curing • Allow for UV light inspection • UV curing capable • Suitable for high and low temperature operation
Encapsulation and Potting
Encapsulation and Potting 2-part RTV silicone (room temperature curing) condensation cure and 2K PU potting materials for electronic protection: • Elastomers with high mechanical performance • UL 94 V-0 rated • Thermally conductive • 2K materials for potting electronics and LEDs Potting and encapsulating materials for your sensitive electronics: • 2-part potting gel for protection of sensitive electronic components • 2-part optical clear with low volatiles • 2-part optical clear with low viscosity
