Color RJ45 patch cables for CAT6A applications

Push-X in the XPC 2,5 PCB connector
Phoenix Contact is extending the series of PCB connectors with innovative Push-X technology to include a new connector for conductor cross-sections up to 2.5 mm². Push-X technology makes it possible to connect flexible and rigid conductors quickly and with virtually zero effort. Following the principle of a mousetrap, the conductor is caught simply by inserting it into the connector. Clamping contacts ensure the long-term and reliable connection of rigid and flexible conductors with or without ferrules. When the conductor is inserted into the clamping space, it strikes the release element which then, with very little force, releases the contact spring. The pretensioned contact spring then permanently clamps the conductor with a defined force. An audible release sound and the changed position of the high-contrast orange release button tell the user that the conductor connection has been secured. Tool-free Push-X connection reduces mounting times and the costs associated with crimping are eliminated. As conductor connection requires little effort, this simplifies automation. The release button is used to release the conductor and pretension the contact spring at the same time. The XPC 2,5 connector is compatible with the Combicon Connectors M product range with 5.08 mm pitch from Phoenix Contact. This results in numerous possible combinations covering a wide range of application versions.

SPE - Single Pair Ethernet - Cables and Connectors
Phoenix Contact is extending its portfolio of Onepair series data connectors for Single Pair Ethernet. IP20 PCB connectors and patch cables in accordance with IEC 63171-2 are ideal for efficient data transmission in factory and building automation systems. The portfolio includes pre-assembled patch cables in various lengths as well as compact device connections for the reflow soldering process available in different designs. The connector with IDC displacement connection technology is a new addition. The robust, two-piece housings can be assembled easily without special tools. The IP-protected portfolio in the M8 and M12 design in accordance with IEC 63171-5 also includes pre-assembled patch cables with different cable types and lengths for different applications and device connections in the standard M8 and M12 design. The newly added SPE M8 bulkhead connector enables the transition of IP-protected field cabling to the protected control cabinet cabling. The portfolio will be extended with an M12 Hybrid versions this year. In the booth we will also show our new SPE Switch

Data connectors for any device interface
Phoenix Contact is consistently developing its portfolio of data connectors for reliable communication. With the extension of the product range, established data connectors such as D-SUB are just as much part of the portfolio as new data connectors for RJ45, USB, HDMI, coaxial and fiber optic connections, and Single Pair Ethernet. With the variety of designs, codings, and pin assignments, Phoenix Contact provides a consistent solution for copper or FO cabling. The product program for RJ45 includes both versions for use in office and building applications as well as products that enable reliable data transmission in industrial areas. Particular focus was placed on the development of new solutions for Single Pair Ethernet. The IP20 portfolio for SPE includes pre-assembled patch cables in various lengths, as well as compact device connections for the reflow soldering process in various designs. The latest member of the family is a connector designed for field assembly with IDC insulation displacement connection. The IP-protected portfolio in the M8 design also includes pre-assembled patch cables with various cable types for different applications and device connections in the standard M8 design. All connectors from Phoenix Contact are ideal for reliable and long-lasting device communication. The quality of the product is confirmed by laboratory tests that go beyond the standard and international approvals.

Connectors for energy storage
With the new plug-in battery connections, Phoenix Contact is providing a time-saving and safe connection technology for energy storage systems. The range includes connectors for busbar connection and battery pole connectors for applications of up to 1,500 V. Connectors for connecting to the busbar simplify the installation of plug-in systems in energy storage systems. The connectors with reverse-polarity protection are plugged onto the rear side of a storage system, eliminating the need for wiring work. The modular design allows different currents, and therefore a wide range of applications. Cable connectors and device connectors with various connection technologies are available for the battery side. The battery pole connectors can be rotated through 360°, enabling flexible cable lengths. Touch-protected battery poles and mechanical coding ensure safety when connecting battery poles. The audible feedback when connecting ensures that a safe and durable connection has been made.

XPC - PCB connectors with innovativ Push-X
The XPC 1,5 PCB connector from Phoenix Contact features direct plug-in connection with Push-X and thus enables fast and tool-free connection of various conductor types and cross-sections. Following the principle of a mousetrap, the conductor is caught simply by inserting it into the connector. Clamping contacts provide a long-term, reliable rigid and flexible connection for the conductors, with or without ferrules. The tool-free connection technology reduces assembly times and enables automated wiring. The release button is used to release the conductor and pretension the contact spring at the same time. The XPC 1,5 PCB connector is compatible with Phoenix Contact’s extensive COMBICON range with a 3.5 mm pitch. As a result, there are numerous combination options that cover a wide range of application versions

Housing kits for telectronics
Electronics housings provide safety and protection for the electronics. Housing kits from Phoenix Contact make it easier to select the entire housing for rapid prototyping. Both for mechanical mounting on a DIN rail in accordance with DIN EN 60715 and outside the control cabinet, the tailored housing system provides a solid basis, plus integrable components for the interfaces. To accommodate an electronic circuit board including the corresponding connection technology, the kits contain all the components needed to assemble a complete housing that is ready to use straight away. In industrial electronics, this enables the fast and cost-effective implementation of individual devices and test setups, right up to small series.
