A defining capability of NEOSID is the precise forming of ferrite components using injection-molding technology. Paper Be Gone – Welcome to the Digital Inspection Era!
Each inspection – sometimes thousands per client – is quickly and accurately recorded in a software solution using RFID tags. The smallest tagged item is a 5 cm hammer; the largest is a crane with a 23-meter span. Regular inspections ensure safe working conditions: safety checks and measures like rope protection help prevent accidents and ensure the functionality of equipment and installations. The protection of employees and the prevention of workplace accidents are the primary reasons for regular inspections in industrial facilities, construction sites, and laboratories. Ultimately, it's about ensuring that machines, electrical devices, gate systems, or lifting equipment are functioning safely and correctly. Inspections are carried out at legally required intervals. After each inspection, a protocol is generated and an inspection seal is issued. This serves as proof for authorities and insurers that inspection schedules are followed and functionality is confirmed. Beyond legal compliance, inspections also support predictive maintenance and repair planning – a factor that is becoming increasingly important for equipment operators and machine operators. Each inspection – sometimes thousands per customer – is quickly and accurately recorded in our software using RFID tags. Clients can access our inspection portal at any time to check whether a device has passed or if repairs are due. Various methods are used when inspecting lifting equipment. These include a visual inspection, which identifies wear and damage, followed by functional testing to check components such as brakes, controls, and load-bearing capacity. The final step is a load test, which ensures the stability and reliability of the lifting equipment under real operating conditions. For electrical equipment, insulation resistance and protective earth resistance are measured. Special attention is paid to the proper functioning of residual current protection devices.

Transponder coils
NEOSID SMD transponder coils are available in different sizes and designs. They offer a wide inductance range and a low hight, are suitable for pick-and-place insertion and support both reflow and vapor phase soldering. For increased vibration and drop test performance these components can be glued to the soldering surface by using our patent protected hot melting dot technology(HSF). High-frequency transformers and directional couplers up to 2.5 GHz In communications and control technology, in signal and data transmission, demanding requirements are placed on transformers and couplers. NEOSID offers wideband signal transformers, transformers for impedance matching, power splitters, directional couplers and other inductive components for high-frequency technology that provide major benefits in an extremely small space. The components are designed for low-loss and good impedance matching and are available for all frequency ranges from DC to over 2.5 GHz. The various designs are all ready for SMD assembling and of top quality which is ensured, for example, by our fully automatic final inspection. Frequency-selective components for electronics and telecommunications Filters and coils from NEOSID are a permanent part of electronics and telecommunications. They are often used as frequency-selective components consisting of individual or coupled oscillating circuits. In addition, coils with taps or multiple windings are also frequently used. We offer these components as pre-adjusted and adjustable. NEOSID manufactures adjustable bandpass filters from helical circuits in the frequency range from 300 MHz to 2.5 GHz and filter coils and kits for building filters from 1 kHz to 200 MHz. Small RFID transponders with high reading range With NeoTAG®, NEOSID redefines reliable RFID technology. An extremely compact design meets maximum range: the surprisingly small NeoTAG® transponders withstand the most adverse conditions and have a remarkable reading range – even from within metallic environments. An ingeniously designed ferrite core optimizes reading out from within a metallic environment at 13.56 MHz. with a read/write chip as standard. All this power is housed in a size of just 2.6 mm x 2.6 mm x 2.4 mm. That qualifies the compact NeoTAG® components for a broad range of tasks in all industries, in which small transponders with a high reading range are in demand. The assembled RFID chip supports ISO IEC 15693. They are useable as NFC TAG as well. NeoTAG® Plug and NeoTAG® Flag The housing for our Plug and Flag products is made from a high quality technical plastic material. This thermoplastic synthetic material possesses high strength and high resistance to mechanical loads, chemical substances and heat. NeoTAG® Plug’s innovative press-in housing means it is easy to fit and remains secure in the bore hole, without need for additional adhesive. ISM frequency band Together with UHF the topic ISM frequency bands is often used. ISM stands for Industrial, Scientific and Medical. For these applications dedicated frequency ranges are reserved. Our classic products and innovations are suitable, e.g., for radio interference suppression, screening, as transformers in DC/DC converters for power applications, as storage chokes anfor designing LC oscillating circuits. One-piece innovation: NEOSID SMD inductors One of our most successful developments include our SMD inductors. We manufacture coil formers and base plates in one piece: As a ferrite component, which we can also form into particularly complex shapes using special injection molding processes. The metal clips, metallisation or solder pins common in the past now become unnecessary. The winding ends of the coil wires are tin-plated and provide the required connections at once. This design guarantees the highest temperature and vibration resistance, a compact shape and little need for space. Many of our inductors meet the specifications for stress test qualification for passive electrical devices, AEC-Q200. Inductance values from 100nH up to 150mH are possible with a current of up to 12 A. These inductors are used for decoupling in LF circuits, as transponder coils and as storage and EMC chokes. Designs with magnetic shielding are also available in different versions. The NEOSID SMD inductors are available in blister belt and are ideal for pick-and-place assembly. Compact, vibration-proof, heat-resistant NEOSID SMD –Inductors Ms50T, Ms85T, and Ms95T convince through innovation and performance. With the component series Ms 50T, Ms 85T and Ms 95T, NEOSID offers power SMD inductors working up to a temperature and 150°C which meet the requirements of the AEC-Q200. Ms50T, Ms85T, and Ms95T inductors impress by its compact design, a high current-carrying capacity, and a low DC resistance. With these properties, they are particularly recommended for use in automotive applications. Especially developed for EMC: Inductors and sensors with a high interference immunity NEOSID has added two more composite materials to the broad range of magnetically soft materials: PF1is and PFS3. Ferrite cores with metallized surface NEOSID pot cores and mushroom cores available starting immediately with metallization. The highly specialized NEOSID ferrites have proven themselves in many sectors. Our pot and mushroom cores with an ultra-thin metallization layer of nickel and tin have now been added.
