Probe Solution
Contact Probes Reliable Performance And Long-Life Quality. Spring contact probes are used to test printed circuit boards, wire harnesses, connectors, and other electronic components. Moreover, they can be used in interfaces and as easily removable electrical connections. We offer a wide range of contact probe varieties and make it possible to have the optimal fit for each specific contact-making task. Our proximity to the market and customers, as well as our many years of experience in constructing and producing spring contact probes, form a strong basis for functional, innovative, and economical products.

CMK Mechanical Kits
The current standards of modern electronics mean that it is important to guarantee high quality through accurate electrical testing. This requires a reliable electrical connection between the testing equipment and the product under test (UUT). Columbia has developed a series of linear test fixtures especially for this purpose: the CMK series test fixtures. The reliability and accuracy of a test fixture are strongly determined by its mechanical construction. This is why CMK fixtures use solid aluminum parts. Columbia has created a unique mechanical click system using ball bearings and guiding sleeves. The UUT is connected to the spring contact pins that are connected to the testing environment in a completely linear fashion. Connecting the UUT to probes can be approached both from the top and the bottom and, optionally, even from the side. The ergonomic housing provides generous space for additional measuring electronics. The back and bottom of the housing can be adapted to the various test system interfaces.

6TL22 Off-line Test Platform
Learn about our build to print service for test platforms. The 6TL22 platform is a perfect base for the conception of a real modular Automatic Test Equipment for low to mid manufacturing volumes. A system designed around the 6TL22 is simple, easy to maintain and cost-effective. The rack is compatible with a the direct integration of the three platform-based receivers from Virginia Panel (S6, G12 and G12X). The core of the system can be either an industrial PC or a NI-PXI. A UPS will protect the valuable instrumentation as well as control all the steps for an automatic power-up and down of the test system. Thanks to the power management unit (MMI), the interaction and control with the system, as well as the basic safety functions, are implemented out of the box.

6TL36 In-line Test Handler w/bypass
The 6TL36 test handler is the first ATE handler on the market that easily integrates the radio frequency tests into mass production lines. The modular approach of the 6TL36 offers the possibility of adding handlers together for a work in parallel that reduces the cycle time and saves costs as well as space, when comparing to traditional parallel solutions. Therefore, the system can be ordered with only one conveyor, with two conveyors (bypass or dual-line) and with three conveyors (Retour conveyor).
